About the Artist:

Kimberly A. Godinho has been painting and creating artwork for over 25 years. She is experienced in a vast array of subject matters and mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, pastels, clay, printmaking, pen and ink, plaster, wood and stone sculpture. She graduated in 1999 from the Ringling School of Art and Design with honors and numerous awards where she studied under such artists as painter Leslie Lerner, sculptor Mark Anderson and master printer Patrick Lindhart. She won a scholarship to study in New York City under the AICAD NY Studio Program which she attended in 1997. Kimberly has taught and continues to teach a variety of art classes for youths and adults. She has had extensive exhibitions and commissions ranging in all aspects of the arts, including large scale painted murals. Her work has been purchased and shown throughout America. Her numismatic series is the first of its kind.
